We made our Dr appointment the next day after I had her and we were scheduled for the second Monday in February to be seen. We went to the Dr appointment and Dr. Stotts did tell us that both feet were in deed clubbed and if we wanted to do the first set of casts today we can. We said okay lets do them then, he also said the one way you can tell she was clubbed is if you touched her little heal it would feel empty it would feel like the bottom part of your ear. Thats because the heal bone has not been dropped down. She did not like getting her casts on at ALL. She was so pissed off and
was screaming so bad. It tore all of our hearts. Her face went like a red plum color and there was nothing we could do to calm her down. I did okay with the first foot but then got to emotional and had to trade out with Brad and then he had to eventually trade out with my Mom. My Mom was able to calm her down a little bit but not much. They did tell me that the first day was going to be the toughest and they did not lie about that one at all. Every time she would wake up she would scream it took Brad or my Grandma to rub her little head to calm her down so she would even nurse me. We eventually we gave her some baby's Tylenol and that really really seemed to help cause when the Tylenol was about to wear off she would defiantly let us know. The boys loved to decorate her little casts so this time we have a pink spider man by Griffin and then we have the HULK done by Xander.
They were so sweet with her with her casts and is always right there to help out when she was crying they are defiantly great big brothers to there little sissy.
This is her feet just after the first set of cast!! Holy cow was my thought look how big of a difference there is.
